Pakistan’s population has grown to over 180 Million.
To put that into perspective, the Pakistan 1998 census put the population at 132 million , that’s a staggering 28 million in just 13 years. We were glad to be sitting down when that census came out.
Somehow we feel that this can’t be sustained . But what is Pakistan doing about it ?
Well it’s hard to say, according to the Express Tribune , there are families who want to have less children. However access to family planning is limited. The EU is urging the authorities to take a look at this issue as a priority. Read the Tribunes article below
